DEAN HODGKIN
I'd known of Jay, through the industry, for a few years before I met him and so was aware he offered a huge range of diverse skills, indicative of his admirable commitment to developing his craft but also supporting his genuine mission to positively impact the lives of others, whatever their demographic, fitness level or activity preference.
Jay was kind enough to deliver training for my fitness team at Ragdale Hall and did a fantastic job impressing me and my instructors with his professionalism, knowledge and energy.
I was not surprised, therefore, to learn of him winning an industry award, thoroughly deserved and I look forward to him continuing to create waves in the fitness sector in years to come. DEAN HODGKIN Voted Best International Fitness Presenter at the 1 Body 1 World ceremony in New York Recipient of the IFS Lifetime Achievement award Ambassador for the Special Olympics

Jay’s delivery of the courses to the 9th/12th Royal Lancers was by far the most energetic I have ever seen in my 18 years as a fitness professional.
He had the ability to coach those who were struggling with the theory of physiology. He mentored, and was will to offer those that were lacking confidence to stand up in front of a crowd the extra tuition to deliver training.
Jay was empathetic to the group and individual needs, making him approachable but very professional in his role as the lead instructor.
All the students passed the course with no problems, but I firmly believe this might not have been the case without his input, extra tuition, love of his job, and most importantly his total professionalism.

Jay has been associated with Derby Cottage Osteopath and Sports injury clinic for many years
now working with our patients using Pilates techniques and function movement to help with their recovery.
ln my experience, Jay is one of the few senior instructors fully to grasp the importance of the
complex motor sequence involved in true spinal stability.
Not only has he consistently educated our patients in the art of movement 'the Jay way', as we call it,
he has also formed a magnificent reputation with all of our registered osteopaths.
He frequently drops in to share knowledge with and motivate myself and the team, which really helps to generate new patients who
hear of his skills from fellow pain sufferers.
A model of health and vitality himself, Jay seems simply never to be off work for any reason and is
th'e finest role model I have ever known.
